Hi! I’m a rising senior at UCLA, and I’m super passionate about computers. I’ve built and worked on many PCs for friends, personal projects, and different setups, and I genuinely love helping people get the best computer possible for their budget.
As a college student, I am, stereotypically, broke 😭 so I’m hoping to turn something I really enjoy into a way to help others while also helping my bank account a little lol 🙏
I know a $40 service fee might seem low, but that’s intentional. I’m new to offering this service publicly (done it a bunch for friends), so I want to make it affordable and give people a reason to take a chance on me. I promise I care a lot about doing things right and making sure you’re happy with the product.
I have an optional request form you can fill out and offer free consultation calls: https://forms.gle/PbiAwCkRLkmFxFbDA
How it works
To start, I charge an initial $15 planning fee.
With that, I will:
1. Create a custom PC part list based on your budget, workload, and preferences
2. Research deals to help you get the most performance for your money
3. Make sure all parts are compatible
4. Help you think through things like gaming performance, aesthetics, upgradeability, size, cooling, and storage
5. Send you the full part list so you can review it and do whatever you want with it
If you decide to continue with the actual build, I charge the cost of the parts plus the remaining $25 service fee.
From there, I will:
1. Assemble the PC
2. Manage and organize the cables
3. Make sure the computer boots and runs smoothly
4. Help with basic setup and testing
5. Make the build clean, functional, and easy to upgrade later
6. Offer support after you receive the PC if you have questions or run into anything
I also offer free consultation calls! Again, I strongly recommend filling out the request form and letting me know if you do, so I can check out your entry: https://forms.gle/PbiAwCkRLkmFxFbDA
I do not currently do custom hard-tube or soft-tube water cooling loops, but maybe in the future.
Feel free to reach out with any questions! I’m genuinely excited to give you your PC, and I really do love working with tech!
