This historic battle flag or kill flag was acquired from the estate of Captain James P. Lynch Captain of the USS SEA DOG, USS SNOOK, USS JUPITER (AVS-8)and the aircraft carrier USS YORKTOWN (CVS 10). This flag hung in the home office of Captain Lynch.The dimensions are 31"length and 24.5"width. This kill flag is made up of multi-colored woven wool and cotton sheeting, It is 100% appliqué no stencil no screen printing. The background is dark navy in color. See pictures for detail.
