Vintage Argentinian Gaucho's belt with Argentinian Coins - $120 (Westminster)

Amazing Argentinian Gaucho belt estimated 1929-1960. Belt is of brown horsehair leather. There are 25 (14 one side 11 on the other ) of the coins riveted to the belt. Coins are the same on both sides (REPUBLICA ARGENTINA, LIBERTAD.1 PESO 1957- 1962). The center medallion is of a horseshoe with horse in center. The three chains on each side run from the horseshoe to three silver toned button coins (sun with Republica Argentina) keeping the medallion in place. Gauchos are the Argentina cowboys and protectors. There is interesting information on gauchos on Wikipedia. Belt is 37" long and would fit 28" - 34". It is 3 1/4 " wide at the center and 3" at each side where the coins are. The gauchos wear this with the medallion in the front and buckled in the back.
