ANTIQUE CHAS. LOWINSON THREAD COUNTING MICROMETER - BOX & DIRECTIONS - PAT. 1929 This is a brass antique thread counting micrometer, No. 8124, made by Chas. Lowinson, New York, N.Y. for use in the textile industry. The unit is stamped PAT. 1740970, DEC. 24, 1929. Comes with box along with the "Lowinson's Thread Counting Micrometer Direction:" instruction sheet. The unit is in excellent operational condition showing a patina consistent with its age. The box hinges and clasp are fully operational but the box does show ware on . See pictures.
