Extremely Rare 18th-19th Century Carved Wood Figure

Rare carved figure of a Quaker or Pilgrim made as a candle holder.
Estimate to be mid 1700's to early 1800's. It may be older.?
I have had this in my collection for around 18-20 years. I still use it regularly.
Has a carved out area on the right side (his satchel) that may have had an insert to hold something. I use it as a match holder.
Wonderful carving. A little loss on the tip of the nose and the edge of the hat used to hold the candle.
Pretty good condition for being several hundred years old.
