Amazing Painting by California Artist Susie Cartt. - $150 (Trabuco Canyon)

This is one of my favorite paintings of Susie's. The color is amazing and the appearance of the paint texture looks like fired porcelain.
This is truly a beautiful piece!
Frame measures 17" wide x 15"" tall.

Susie was a member of the San Clemente Arts and Crafts Club, the San Clemente Art Association and participated in the San Clemente Art fair for over 40 years. Her husband was also a well known local California artist and member of the San Clemente Art Association.
Susie worked in oils, watercolors, pastels, varieties of ink and leaf print on rice paper and incorporated a distinctive method known as wax encaustic with many of her later works. This ancient technique uses beeswax as a medium and an iron or propane blowtorch as the paintbrush. She also painted miniature paintings.
