For sale is a classic Valley Anas Acuta - a cult classic 'The Original Valley Sea Kayak'. This is the definitive Greenland-style production kayak—known for its hard chines, aggressive rocker, and world-class rolling capabilities. This model was built for maneuverability, low windage, responsiveness to paddle strokes and ease of rolling, and make this an exceptionally fun kayak to paddle.
If you are looking for a "sports car" for the ocean that handles like a dream in rough water, this is it.
The Details:
Color: cream/grey with burgundy trim
Dimensions: approx 17' 2" x 20"
Cockpit: Traditional Ocean Cockpit (Small/Round) for a perfect, locked-in fit.
Condition: The hull and deck are in Good condition with some surface scratches.
Upgrades: Just installed brand new Valley hatch covers ($200 value). These are ready for years of use.
Skeg: The current skeg cable is [kinked/sticky] and needs a tune-up. To make it easy, I am including a new extra skeg [cable/blade] so you have the parts ready to go.
This boat is a delight to edge or turn and a "cheat code" for learning advanced rolls. This has been my favorite boat on the water.
