1978 larsen 170 with Mercury 900 2 Stroke Outboard. Trail-Rite Trailer. Ran when parked about 15 years ago so as you can imagine it’s going to be quite a project. I’ll start by telling you what I know about the boat. We were told 15 years ago that all of the wire harnesses, I believe there are 3, under the engine cowl need to be replaced because they are disintegrating. Also, we were told that all of the fuel lines needed to be replaced under the cowling. At this point in time, I’m sure the entire fuel system tank, carburetors, everything would need to be cleaned out. The tires on the trailer are holding air, but I would not plan on towing it very far as they are very old and the wheels are rusty. Would probably be best to bring better wheels and tires. One bent step on the trailer. The power trim, and tilt works. We have some gear for the boat that would be included. There is also some canvas with the boat that is all stained. Not sure if it could be cleaned or could be used for patterns if you wanted to replace. Also included is a Bimini top and a rear pylon for ski rope. This was a great boat when it was being used. Mostly used at Marine Stadium in Long Beach. Has also made a few trips to Avalon. Reach out with any questions you have through craigslist mail or chat feature.
