This book is Kuniyoshi's Japan Warrior Arts in Outline, published by the Keibunsha Japan Tattoo Institute. Kuniyoshi Utagawa is one of the most popular Japanese artists in 19th century. He established Japanese wood printing pictures called "Ukiyoe." The book includes large full page monochrome outlines of Samurai directly from his Ukiyo-e masterpieces. The book includes a section color Ukiyo-e sub-nails. The names of each Samurai is written in both English and Japanese. The book contains less text but they are in Japanese.
