This Manitowoc Ice IDT1500A/D970 ice maker and bin can store 882 pounds of ice, so it is great for large venues. Its polyurethane liner can be wiped clean, and its insulated door prevents ice from melting quickly. The door is angled for comfort and has built-in grips and latches that help staff scoop ice, and because the included ice scoop has a thumb and knuckle guard, ice is protected from cross-contamination. Antimicrobial protection helps prevent mold growth between cleanings, and when it's time to clean the ice machine head, the screen provides a reminder. The food zone can be accessed through the front, and several parts can be removed and cleaned separately.
