宋金時期 和田白玉 籽玉天鵝一對 (或大雁)
Exceptionally rare Chinese Song-Jin dynasty (11th century) top grade He-Tian white jade swans or giant geese figurines, with master workmanship and impressive carving details, about 65 mm long and 35 mm tall. They were made from top grade pure white jade rubble stones (籽玉) from Xinjiang Jade River (新疆喀拉喀斯河床).
Size 65x35x26 mm and 66x37x22 mm.
They are very convincing top grade white jades with golden Stone Skin and ancient primitive carving traces popular in Song-Jin period jade arts. Very beautifully carved hard stone antique with fabulous details! Please come and take a look in person.
I prefer jade to jadeite for 2 reasons. First, jade culture is backed by more than 4,500 years of civilization, since Hong Shan culture and Lian Zhu culture. In contrast, jadeite is just a newbie entering Chinese culture since Qing Qianlong period. Without a cultural backbone, jadeite is nothing more than a semi-jewel, not comparable to real jewels (emerald, ruby, sapphire, and diamond with Mohs hardness over 9), and its collector base will fade soon in the future. Jadeite popularity is largely driven by Chinese jewelry dealers rather than antique/art collectors. Second, unlike jade, jadeite is not originated from China and all sourced from Burma and Guatemala. Without domestic supply, Chinese collectors may not be attracted to it for the long run as it is not a Chinese element.
I only accept cash or cryptocurrency.
Due to the high value of these jade antiques, I only show these swan statues to return customers.
