Antique spinning wheel. It has a 25-inch diameter wheel. The origin of this great find is from Norway.
It has been in the family since immigrating to the United States from Norway and settling in Minnesota.
Passed down from my great grandparents it needs a new home.
It has maintained its original painted finish and "patina" acquired over the years and has no damage.
The only identifying marks are the letters "O. L S J" and "actual color finish" is shown in one of the pictures.
Also, along with the spinning wheel are the two “cards” needed to comb the natural cotton or wool fibers prior to spinning into thread.
