Vintage Mexican Folk Art Painting, 1977, Mexico City - $500 (Trabuco Canyon)

From a long-time collection of Mexican, Caribbean and Haitian art.
Personalized on the back. This may be an earlier painting than the date written on the back. The subjects in the painting appear to be several decades earlier.
I had contacted Rebecca D. Meyers, the Permanent Collection Curator at the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago back in 2021 who advised the staff was not permitted to provide monetary appraisals or other opinions and attributions on works not included in the Museum’s Permanent Collection but advised to look into " the work of Rodolfo Morales, whose work is somewhat similar, but who is considered a Mexican Master.".
I have also contacted The Museo Nacional de Arte in Mexico City and they suggested a retail price in the range of $1500.00- $2000.00.
