This RARE antique highly collectible 1932 Pace Comet has a coin front display, a gooseneck style coin entry, and a double jackpot. The machine features a distinctive Art Deco design in cast metal with beautiful oak wood side panels and base. There is a decorative brass 5 cent coin slot and the front of the machine has three glass windows showing the three wheels displaying PACE, MFG., COMPANY, bells, INC., olives, CHICAGO, comets, U.S.A., cherries, and lemons as the wheels turn. There is also a glass display of the internal rotating coin mechanism. This machine is in working order and in beautiful, unrestored condition, making it more valuable. Another unique feature of the Pace Comet is it has a mechanism that allows the operator to preset the amount of coins that drop into the cashbox or the twin jackpots. There are Pace Comet slot machines like this one on display at the Museum of the Game in Oregon and at the Queensland Police Museum in Australia. This specific model is highly collectible and an exceptional piece from the early days of casino gaming.
