Union National Furniture Company was a Jamestown, N.Y.-based company formed in 1939 from the National Furniture Co., which had been in business since 1891. The company was known for producing high-quality hardwood furniture, including breakfronts and china cabinets often featuring hand-painted details and Chinoiserie styles, similar to the one pictured. The Nord family owned and operated the company from 1891 until its closure in 1994. Union National furniture was popular among celebrities, and one of their chairs was even presented to the King of Sweden in the 1970s
