Vintage Hazel Atlas Snack Sip Smoke Party Set Ball Rib or bead Orchard Plate and Cup. Hazel Atlas Glass Ball & Rib clear glass snack set. Hazel Atlas produced these Snack-Sip-Smoke sets in the 1940's-1950's and sold them as Orchard Crystal Party Sets. Each set consists of the plate and matching cup. Each plate has three sectioned compartments, one for food, one to hold the matching cup and one is an individual ashtray with indentation in the corner to rest the cigarette. These sets were very popular for use at card games and informal lunches. The bottom of the cup is an unusual round and square base. This set is made from clear heavy crystal clear glass There are no chips, cracks or damage to the plate or cup. pattern is also called Rib and Bead and is very similar to, and they are often mistaken for, the Imperial Candlewick pattern.
