Frame measures 25 3/4" wide x 20" tall.

Susie was a member of the San Clemente Arts and Crafts Club, the San Clements Art Association and participated in the San Clemente Art fair for over 40 years. Her husband was also a well known local California artist.
She worked in oils, watercolors, pastels, varieties of ink and leaf print on rice paper and incorporated a distinctive method known as wax encaustic with many of her later works. This ancient technique uses beeswax as a medium and an iron or propane blowtorch as the paintbrush. She also painted miniature paintings.
