This is a painting re-created by the well-known Laguna Beach artist and teacher Michael Jacques in 1999. He still teaches at the Laguna College of Art and Design I think.
The original painting was made by Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792) in 1775 and is located in Harewood House, West Yorkshire, England. Subject is Jane Fleming , The countess of Harrington.
Very large at 36" wide x 48" tall.
Very nice large painting. It is difficult to find an original Michael Jacques painting offered for private sale. Especially a larger one like this. Most remain in private collections, galleries and museums.
Unframed. I never got around to making a frame for this.
