I am selling some art that I inherted from my grandfathers collection. The piece I am selling is a phenomenal signed photograph of a shark, taken by Ernest Brooks II during World War II. I've been doing research for the past few months and have learned so much about the photographer and his work. He is the best of the best in this type of photography. The photographer opened a photography college in Santa Barbara and had his work on display there as well as in various museums. The school was sold about 10 years ago, and no longer is owned by the well known photographer. I do not know much about this type of art, but I do know the piece I have belongs somewhere other than the back of my closet. I'm hoping to find a collector that is as passionate and can really appreciate the photograph, as much as my grandfather did.
