For sale by original owner at a truly excellent price to the buyer: Framed, signed, limited edition serigraph entitled "Blake & Alex" by internationally renowned Southern California artist Susan Rios. This distinctive Susan Rios serigraph was displayed in a smoke-free, air-conditioned home in Irvine, California from 1994 to 2011, and has been carefully stored (wrapped in a protective quilt) in a dark, smoke-free, air-conditioned room ever since. It has never been displayed in direct sunlight or been exposed to high humidity. Consequently, its colors are still rich and vibrant. The serigraph shows no discernable fading and it lies perfectly flat in its frame with no warping or bubbling. This fine art is in excellent condition.
The serigraph was purchased framed from the Martin Lawrence Gallery in Newport Beach, California in December 1993. It will come with its original Certificate of Authenticity and Certificate of Tirage. The latter indicates that the subject serigraph was printed at American Serigraph in Los Angeles, California and that the plate was destroyed after this limited edition. On the purchase invoice dated December 3, 1993, the frame is described as having contemporary white wash molding and two Manhasset oyster mats. The frame has a clear plexiglass facing.
