Hello, my name is Walter Costescu. I'm a local artist here in Dana Point, California. I just completed this painting titled "The Cost of Freedom". It is a tribute to both Charlie Kirk and Iryna Zarutska, who were both tragically killed earlier this year. It is a mixed media art piece, featuring primarily acrylic gouache. You will notice other small details and elements, such as the golden cross lapel pin and FREEDOM sprayed on the side, as well as the dates of their passing on both sides. This painting measures 18x24 inches and is painted onto a wooden gesso panel. I put my heart and soul into this painting and hope you'll enjoy it.
