A Major Telecomunications company is looking for a Network Tech for a 4 day assignment in Irvine, CA Starting 10/20. Techs will be installing routers and cabling with next day support.
Techs should have the following skill set: MUST have at least 4-6yrs Network experience over all - At least 4-6yrs of Wifi configuration experience and a strong understanding of how to configure on both the Access Point and Client side. Understand how to troubleshoot wifi connectivity issues on a Windows Vista AND Windows 2000 environment. A CCNA certification or the equivelent would be helpful but not required. MUST have at least 4-6yrs Network experience over all.

Senior Systems Engineer (Orange County, CA.)

A Southern California company specializing in on-site IT customer service and support, including company relocations and IT infrastructure implementations, seeks an ethical, talented, and qualified field technician to join our Professional Services team.

Qualified candidate must be MCSE 2003 certified and have extensive Microsoft Exchange server (2003/2008), 2003/2008 Operating System, Virtual Server, Terminal Server, Small Business Server and desktop experience. Additional qualifications include 3+ years of Symantec/Veritas suites, including Backup Exec, and Enterprise Anti-Virus, and recent SonicWall/Cisco firewall experience on current Microsoft platforms. Ideal candidate should be familiar with data switches, circuits, routers, cabling practices, TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, SSL certificates, PC support (including proper user, server and e-mail migrations on Microsoft platforms), patching, and a working knowledge of SCSI devices. Experience with SQL 2000/2005, and Visual Basic are also desired skills. Web programming and .net experience is a plus.

This field position will report to a Service Manager which will provide direction as well as to support and manage workload. Candidate must be able to follow instructions, work well with minimal supervision, and be willing to travel daily to local sites. Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are also mandatory.

A technical competency interview will be given to qualified candidates. Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance will be required, as will a background check and pre-employment drug testing. System Administrator (contract) (Santa Ana)

This is a six-month contract opportunity for a Windows Systems Administrator in an enterprise environment. Candidates must have enterprise experience, as well as high-availability, load balancing, and clustered environment experience. This is a 24x7x365 support job that will require rotating on-call duties. The Systems Administrator will build, deploy, and support infrastructure and applications, using knowledge and knowledge bases to determine best practices. Level 3 troubleshooting and creation/maintenance of documentation will be day-to-day tasks. Individual will support Active Directory (AD), Windows Server 2003/2008, and Exchange 2003/2007. Other technical responsibilities will include File and Print Sharing, IIS, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Power Shell.

Requirements:
- 5 + years of experience with Systems Administration in a large, corporate, enterprise Windows environment
- Strong Active Directory and Exchange experience, including at least one large migration
- Knowledge and experience with ITIL best practices
-Strong experience with load-balancing, clustering, and high-availability
- Expert experience with all major LAN/WAN protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft File and Print Sharing and IIS
- Ability to share rotating on-call support duties and strong customer-support skills
- B.S. in Computer Science preferred
- MCSE preferred
