Hello, are you looking for a fun and unusual pet? Maybe two? My son no longer wishes to care for his two frogs. They are both free to the right home and they come with enclosures. I would like to get reasonable compensation for the enclosures, if you need them, $20 for the 10 gallon and $30 for the 20 gallon, OBO.

The first fellow is a red legged walking frog from Africa. He's relatively hardy and suitable for a beginner. If you wash your hands, he likes to be handled, he'll even crawl right up your arm. He's about 2 inches long.

The second little guy is an albino pacman frog. He's very healthy and sturdy. He does have teeth (one of the few frogs that do) and is probably better suited to someone who is experienced.

I have included pics of the frogs and their enclosures. If you have questions about their care, I'll try to answer them. Local pick up only, please. Thank you for looking at this ad. :)

I�m a gorgeous �silver-ticked� tabby, with the most beautiful silver pointed fur, and tabby point markings you�ve ever seen. I have a small white chest & chin, plus my paws are dipped in white too. My eyes are large, round, and full of light and love. They balance out my tiny button nose, and always give me a sweet, �who me?� expression. Affectionate is my middle name. I�ll greet you by sitting on my haunches, and lifting my head up to your hand. I�ll then bump my little nose on your finger to say hero. When you stroke my soft fur, I�ll knead my small little paws and make biscuits while I purr away. I also love playtime, however, and am always up for a good game of catch the fishpole toy! I go there every thursday to get crickets for my 18 geckos. Their prices are awesome, reptiles are healthy, and they keep on changing the shop as noted above! I like how it currently looks too. It may not be the cleanest but what herp shop is? I can only imagine how hard it is to care for that many animals and have a 100% health rate. They do their best just like everyone else! When I notice a sick animal, I notice whoever is working there at the time and they take it out of the cage and see what they can do but honestly, I haven't seen many. They do very well for how many animals they have.

I have an 11 month old Basset Hound Mix that I need to find a loving home. He is fully potty-trained and we have already taught him some tricks. He loves to give kisses to anyone he sees and he plays with his rope all by himself, while we watch TV. He only speaks when he needs to go to the bathroom. He is so adorable and energetic, but we can't keep him in our current situation. We named him Kobe because it was the only name we could agree on. I wanted to name him Kobe because he is "beefy" and my boyfriend wanted to name him Kobe because of Bryant....So typical.

Kobe is about 40lbs now...mostly muscle and he is fully grown. He needs an owner who can run him and keep him active like we do or preferably someone with a yard. We don't have a yard, so we take him for daily runs. We only feed him organic food that doesn't have any wheat or soy products in it because other products irritate his skin. We feed him marshmellows as a treat because they are hypoallergenic and it is quite inexpensive.

We are asking for a $200.00 rehoming fee or best offer. He comes with his favorite bed...(We have more than one), bowls, toys, a halloween costume as you can see below (he hated the hat), and harness/leash. We can remake his tag for you so it says the right address. We hope you will keep his name since it suits him. I want to find him an owner who will love him just as much as we do.

Ahhh, the tegu being fed to a retic was incorrect. It was me who fed the tegu (dead tegu) to an Anaconda (the tegu had come in with a broken back and crushed chest, and died of its injuries), an Anaconda that would not eat rodents or rabbits and had not fed in 6 months! Anacondas feed on all kinds of large lizards and crocodilians (camain, tegus etc.) in the wild and one trick to getting them to eat when they are refusing is to offer them a lizard or bird, and scenting does not usually work on them. So before you begin posting comments, get your facts straight. A lot of people (including the owner Jay) have and are spending a lot of time to help make Prehistoric a better place. Instead of bashing PP why not volunteer and try to make a difference.
Re: RR, I like Chris, and the store has never been as bad as Reptropolis used to be, as far as herp stores it is pretty good. Until you work for or operate a shop, its very easy to sit back and criticize others. I have seen Chris in that store cleaning and changing it around every time I have gone in there.I haven't been in there in about 3 months, but I doubt in that time the store became so bad it was worthy of closing. I ended up at the pound and was so stressed out until my foster mom took me to a nice home where I could take better care of my kittens. My kittens have been adopted, and I helped foster other kittens that needed a mom, too. They even started calling me OctoMom like that other human with all the kids!!

me and my ex used to call her mr. pebbles even though the cat is a she. The pebbles part because her fur is grey like a rock. She's neutured and vaccinated.
I'm looking for someone who will adopt this cat because I unfortunately cannot keep her any longer due to the fact that I will be getting a roomate who is allergic. I also have been working so much I am unable to give her any attention which she needs for a healthy life. She is very friendly to all my friends and guests. They just love her and can't stop petting her. She loves to be pet and rolls over to the side so you can rub her belly. Just loves to wait by the door when I come home and she is also very smart. Doesn't say much, likes windows, and eats regular cat food- none of that expensive stuff. She also is very clean, like most cats are, and her fur doesn't get all over the house-not high maintenance at all. She is so friendly and respectful. NEVER once has used her claws.

I was going to give her away for free, but became aware of the dangers in doing so- so I'm asking for only $20. I really am just looking to find a caring owner but the adoption fee should be low enough for you and significant enough to deter a possible abuser. We need anyone and everyone to go and sign a petition for keeping their store open.

I've been going there for over 6 yrs and have had no problem with them. They may not be in the best of conditions. But they're animals are healthy. Whenever they've been given a sick reptile they covered them up and brought them back to health.

They have the best deals around for reptiles n feeders. Prehistoric is far worse. I've seen them feeding a retic a tegu. And reptiles infested with mites. Beyond anything...overpriced.

Pet city. I've seen snakes with shed stuck to them. Bad humidity. And no food n proper water. And nobody in the store knows much about what they're selling.

So help out a small business who loves reptiles as much as we do.

She is a three year old female (spaded) calico. She is extremely gentle and loves to be a little lap girl. She is very shy and will only talk after becoming familiar with the person, usually over about a two month period of time. After the initial time period she becomes extremely �chatty.� It has now reached the point where I am having difficulty sleeping at night; she sleeps days. I am asking an $80.00 re-homing fee. This includes a food supply for about a week, her food and water bowl, a litter box, and a well-worn cat muzzle. I really hate to part with her but within the last year she has become almost a compulsive liar and you have to double check everything she says; in addition to this, she has lately started to swear whenever she begins to purr.

Want to trade plastic carrier/crate for a wire crate (Lake Forest)

I have a Medium sized plastic carrier/crate (picture #1) and I would like to trade it for an all wire crate (like picture #2) in medium or small.

The crate I have is in perfect condition. My puppy used it for about 4 months until she grew out of it. I bought her a Large plastic crate and the Medium one has not been used for the last month or so. I am getting a new puppy (picture #3) this weekend that is pretty tiny (5 lbs now, will be about 10 lbs full grown). I would like to get him an all wire crate for when I bring him home, so that my puppy can easily see him in the crate and sniff him out easier. I would prefer a Small size, since he's so little, but Medium would be okay as well.

Please let me know if you have a wire crate like the one pictured below and would like to trade! Or if you have one for sale and don't want the plastic crate, I can pay around $20 for the wire one.

hi, i have a sweet little russian tortiose in need of a new home. i got him a week ago when he wandered into my friends yard. he has a couple cracks in his shell and i brought him to the vet and have them repaired. he is eating well and very active. asking $100 adoption fee to help cover some of the vet costs and will also give the tank away for free.

I am very familiar with Radical Reptiles. I helped them open when they were at adventure city. When I was there working for the origional owner it was a very nice store and very clean. I have to say I have been very disapointed at what the new owner has done with the place. It has been filthy every time I go in. They need to take more pride in the store, if that means having their animals taken away so be it. They do not take animals without a reason or for a first offense. There are very few good reptile stores anymore, we do not need another Prehistoric Pets with sick animals and dirty cages.

2 large manzanita perches with many branches. The one for the smaller parrots (conures, cockatiels, meyer's Parrots etc.) has thinner branches, but has more branches and is very full. Has wheeled base and is quite large. $75 OBO

The second manzanita perch has wider branches and is for larger birds such as cockatoos, macaws, amazons, etc. Has a large wheeled base with sides to keep the messes contained and can be moved about easily. This one has been removed from the base and can be transported more easily. $65 OBO

If you take both of them I would consider $120.

I have cups, bowls, a small cage etc, in cage perches, some toys, and other misc bird stuff most $1 each. A good deal if you want all the little accessories.

I accept cash only. Please bring the agreed upon amount, don't show up with less and expect to still get the item. If you agree to pay $30 and you plan to bring $20, go stop at the store and hit up the atm. We're all having hard times and these are great discounts for awesome parrot accessories.

Tame 5 year old Red Lored Amazon Parrot (San Diego)

Crackers is a 5 Year old Tame Red Lored Amazon Parrot. She belonged to my mother who passed away earlier this year. She doesn't talk but she has shown potential.

She was raised since baby as shown in the picture of her on the towel as a baby taken June 2004. Picture of girl holding her was taken a couple weeks ago.

Crackers is a tame bird who loves being held and just hanging out with you. The girl in the picture had never held a parrot before. Crackers stepped right up when I passed the bird to her.

She eats Exact Natural pellet bird food and assorted fruits and vegetables. Never been given seed. Less mess and waste.

Be prepared to complete an adoption questionnaire as we would prefer she goes to someone with some knowledge of birds and understanding that they live 50 - 75 years!

$350 re-homing fee includes parrot, cage and initial supplies.

Just an FYI... although I refer to the bird as a 'SHE', we have never had her sexed. Past experience with this breed makes me think it's a girl but I may be wrong.

We have a sweet male cat named Petey. We have had him for awhile but now my daughter has developed asthma and now it looks like we have to find him a new home. He is very calm and docile and loves to sleep with you and loves affection. He is so sweet and we hate to let him go but my daughter's health is at risk if we keep him. :(

Please, if you know anyone that would like to have him and could take good care of him let me know. They would also have to be able to afford to feed him science diet cat food because it's the best for his system. If he eats other less quality food, he throws it up and gets hairballs. I am asking a $100 re-homoming fee to make sure he goes to a person who really wants him.
